Boating

Kitesurfing

Houlgate is THE SPOT for kitesurfing fans, and as an added bonus, it's the closest to Paris. Just 500 meters from the hotel, the beach at Houlgate offers magnificent wind conditions (north-east to north-west). At low tide, the sea recedes into the distance, creating shallow, wave-free water - ideal conditions for beginners and advanced sailors. Interested parties can contact the "Kite Paradise" kite school, which offers courses all year round except winter. To help out, the local association "HAK" or Houlgate Assoss Kite, uses the first-aid post and the Algeco to store members' equipment, provide an inflator and ensure safety on a voluntary basis. One thing's for sure, kitesurfing near these unique and totally unspoilt spots will be an unforgettable experience!
